So let’s take a moment to detox all the negativity and worries from your body. Today, we’re here with a new skincare diet routine to show you. It is a struggle to find the right, suitable products for you and sometimes we end up overwhelming the skins with too many trials and errors. The products can get clogged in your pores, leading to acne or allergic reactions. It’s best to let your skin rest on its own, using less products and only natural ingredients. The reason why this 4 step routine is called the Glow-Getter Skincare Guide is because it is dedicated for a driven, busy girl who strives to achieve her goals in life while attaining a beautiful glow both inside and out. The products we recommend are 100% natural, organic, homemade ingredient. You can easily find it in your kitchen or online. Step 1: Face wash - Nameraka Honpo Sana
Choose a natural ingredient face wash, we recommend Nameraka Honpo Sana - a popular drugstore skincare brand from Japan. This product is packed with natural ingredients like soybean, with no fragrance or artificial colorant or mineral oil. The rich foam helps remove makeup and is ideal for combination and oily skin. Add a little bit of water to the soap and gently cleanse your face. It will definitely leave your skin matte, super clean and hydrated throughout the day!
Step 2: Toner - Rice water
Carbs usually get a bad reputation, especially when you’re trying to lose weight, but this ingredient has a powerful use for the skin - white rice. For an easier method, simply pour water over a bowl of uncooked rice grains and stir until the water is cloudy. Strain the bowl content so that you only have rice water left. Pour it in a separate container to use later (it can be stored for up to a week!). To use as a toner, dip a cotton pad in the rice water and apply it all over your face. It has a natural brightening effect, in addition to helping to tighten pores and decreasing acne.
Step 3: Face mask - Rice bran
The 3rd step is optional and you only do it once or twice per week. The most crucial ingredient is rice bran. So what is rice bran? Well, it is the layer in rice that is between the outer hull and the inner grain. Basically, it is the outer layer of a rice grain. Packed with vitamins E, B and (Kali), rice bran helps nurture the skin deep from within and exfoliate all the dead skin cell, resulting in natural brightness. The perfect formula for the face mask is 2 tsp of rice bran + egg white (oily skin) or egg yolk ( dry skin) + 1 tsp honey. Mix it up and apply it all over your skin. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. You should use this at night before going to bed and, as mentioned before, do it once or twice a week only.
Step 4: Face moisturizer: coconut oil + essential oil (scent)
Scoop about 1/4 cup of coconut oil and put it into a microwave safe dish. Microwave the oil for about 30 seconds or until completely melted. Then add 6-8 drops of essential oil to your melted coconut goodness. Choose any essential oil you like (for example, tea tree oil or lavender). Pour the mixture into a container and set it aside until it becomes solid. And voila! The ultimate face moisturizer you’ll ever need.
